Description
Engage your students in your new unit with questions designed to pique their curiosity and spark conversations! This beginning of unit Science activity uses the familiar format of Two Truths and a Lie to introduce science topics to students.
How it works:
1. Choose which of the 57 slides you want to use – use all 57 or choose the ones relevant to your topic. Each slide contains 3 statements – two science “truths” and one science “lie.”
2. Present the slide to your class and have students vote on which statement they think is the lie. Students can vote by writing their answer on a white board or raising 1,2 or 3 fingers or moving to a corner of the room. Groups can discuss and choose a lie together.
3. Display the correct answer slide, with a short explanation.
4. Discuss!
