Halloween STEM – Use the scientific method to make fake blood!

This fun Halloween STEM activity challenges students to make fake blood! Interactive lab allows students to practice forming hypotheses and testing them while using materials like cocoa powder, food coloring, and corn syrup to make fake blood.

Give students a goody bag of materials and let them experiment with trial and error. Includes a materials list, student handout, and science notebook with 6 trials included for students to record their results.

Great for grades 4-8. 1 class period.
