Students build communication and collaboration skills along with problem solving in this Winter themed digital escape activity. Students will learn about hibernation, evergreen trees, what causes seasons, the formation of snow, and the adaptations of reindeer in this escape activity.
This is a completely digital escape activity – all students will need is internet access and a URL which you will receive in a PDF with the solution and hints as well as suggestions to having a successful game. NO prep required – just give your students the URL and they’re off to find clues and solve puzzles.
Suitable for ages 9-13, this escape room will lead students to images of winter. Clicking on various parts of the image lead to clues such as a jigsaw puzzle and articles about winter. The final clue is a mystery picture which reveals pixels each time students get an answer correct. The mystery picture reveals a code which students enter into the final Google Form to win the game. Also included is a 1-2 minute video explaining what an escape room and how it works.
Average student completion time is approximately 35 minutes, but your mileage may vary. This escape room can be done individually or in groups of 2-4, either remotely or in a classroom.
