Read about the planaria which can be cut in half and each half will become a complete new planaria. The immortal jellyfish can revert from its adult form back into a younger stage and then its cells change into different types of cells. Starfish can regrow lost arms and crabs can regrow lost claws. Sea cucumbers actually eject their internal organs into the ocean to distract predators, then regrow their organs back again. Green anoles can detach its tail when threatened by predators and then regrow the tail later. And finally, learn about the spiny mouse, one of the very few mammals known to regenerate tissues.
