Do your students know what the weather map symbols mean—but still struggle to figure out what the map is actually telling them?

This Reading Weather Maps activity gives students the practice they need to move from identifying weather symbols to actually interpreting weather patterns and predicting weather.

The six-page student workbook walks students through common weather map symbols and then provides five pages of practice reading weather maps and using the information to predict what the weather will be like.

And because it’s available as both a printable PDF and a Google Doc, you can use it whether your students are working with paper or devices.
