Description
This is a great no prep self-checking activity to review Punnett Squares. Students need to answer 20 questions to reveal the riddle. For each question they get correct, part of an image is revealed. Once all the questions are answered correctly, students will see the whole image (“Did you hear about the fire in the circus? It was In-tents.”).
Includes questions such as:
-
In humans, dimples are dominant over not having dimples. What percent of the offspring will have dimples if you cross a homozygous dominant parent with a homozygous recessive?
-
In pea plants, purple flowers are dominant over white. What percent of the offspring will be homozygous dominant if you cross a heterozygous plant with a homozygous recessive plant?
Easy to use – you’ll be purchasing a PDF with a forced copy link to a Google Sheet. Share with your students, allowing each of them to make a copy.
Answer key included.
