Review activity using an escape room format. Students need to use their knowledge of D=RT to find clues solve puzzles. Criminal Velma Velocity has escaped from house arrest and you need to find her using the clues in her apartment. 6 clues ask you to use the formula D=RT to solve for distance, rate or time. After solving all of the puzzles, students enter the answers into a Google form to win the game.
This is a completely digital escape room – all students will need is internet access and a URL which you will receive in a PDF with the solution and hints as well as suggestions to having a successful game. NO prep required – just give your students the URL and they’re off to find clues and solve puzzles.
Average student completion time is approximately 35 minutes, but your mileage may vary. This escape room can be done individually or in groups of 2-4, either remotely or in a classroom. Suitable for ages 9-15.
