Digital Escape Room – Atomic Theory

Description

Review activity using an escape room format. Students need to use their knowledge of protons, neutrons, electrons, and atomic structure to solve 3 digital puzzles. After completion, they will be led to a crossword puzzle page which they can print and solve.

This is a completely digital escape room – all students will need is internet access and a URL which you will receive in a PDF with the solution and hints as well as suggestions to having a successful game. NO prep required – just give your students the URL and they’re off to find clues and solve puzzles.

Suitable for ages 9-10, this escape room will lead students to an image of the periodic table. Clicking on various parts of the image lead to clues such as a jigsaw puzzle. Also included is a 1-2 minute video explaining what an escape room and how it works.

Average student completion time is approximately 30 minutes, but your mileage may vary. This escape room can be done individually or in groups of 2-4, either remotely or in a classroom. Please click here to ensure that your school allows Google sites and Google forms from outside sources!
