The Ecosystem Eatery transforms a traditional biomes research project into an engaging, real-world challenge that combines science, research, writing, and creativity!

In this project, students become both biome experts and restaurant owners. After researching an assigned biome, students design a themed restaurant menu featuring appetizers, entrées, beverages, and desserts made only from plants and animals that naturally live in their biome. Each menu item includes a creative name and an enticing description that accurately reflects the ecosystem’s native organisms.

This project encourages students to apply what they’ve learned while creating a unique final product they’ll be excited to share.

Students Will:
