Students investigate 3 fictional animal studies, each featuring a different adaptation or behavior that affects reproductive success. They work with data tables, create appropriate graphs, analyze patterns, and complete evidence-based CER responses.
Animal Investigations Include:
- Peacock Feather Displays – Investigate the relationship between feather display size and the number of females choosing a male.
- Frog Calls – Analyze whether calling frequency is related to the number of females approaching a male frog.
- Bird Nest Height – Investigate how nest height may affect chick survival and reproductive success.
